The Jewish Renaissance of Charleston (JROC) was formed with the vision of bringing the Warmth of Torah Judaism to as many Jews in Charleston as possible. The greatest challenge that we face is to reach all members of our diverse community, as every single soul is equally important in G-d’s eyes.
We currently work with students at the College of Charleston, The Citadel, Porter Gaud High School, as well as members of all of the synagogues in the general Charleston Jewish Community.
A major focus of JROC is to revamp and increase the educational opportunities that presently exist in our community.Therefore, we now present a brand new schedule of classes – with classes meeting almost every night and in every location. There are introductory classes for beginners, as well as in-depth classes for the more advanced learners. Rabbi Beni is also available for one-on-one learning for anyone that is interested.
Whether we are visiting your home or community for Shabbat, or studying during the week, we look forward to forging strong personal connections with you and your families.
