Headache, Heartburn or Happiness? A Refreshing Approach to Passover

MONDAYS; MARCH 1, MARCH 8, AND MARCH 15, 2010 7:30-8:45PM IN LEVIN LIBRARY (RM 209)

Passover’s incredible joy and celebration can often be lost in the shuffle of the intense preparation for the holiday. By no means should a day which celebrates Jewish liberation from bondage become a time of burden and slavery. On three consecutive Mondays, Rabbi Ari Sytner will get us ready by focusing on some central aspects of Passover observances as well as the significance and hidden meaning behind them. The course is a perfect way to learn about Passover traditions and to get oneself into a positive Passover spirit.

March 1: Ancient Wonderbread: The rise and fall of Chametz and Matza

March 8: Insights into the Passover Seder: How to make this night different from any other night

March 15: The Kosher for Passover Kitchen: A crash course on maintaining a traditional Passover kitchen (without losing your mind)
